Catch up and planning meeting for the network

This Monday, 27th July, 6.30pm at the Sandbar, Grosvener Street, Manchester, M1 7HL (just off Oxford Road, near the Metropolitan University)

The network meets every 5 months, on the last Monday of the month, allowing time to have 4 months worth of events in between.  The last meeting was in February (see minutes on this website - resources - planning meetings) and since then we have had a talk on projects in El Salvador, a visual tour with permaculture experts, a trip to Offshoots in Burnley, a feast of herbal proportions for solstice and a visit to the Middlewood Trust this weekend (squeezed in as an extra due to popular demand). 

This meeting will be a chance to plan events happening for the next three months and to further our quest to obtain funding (or decide not to!) to allow the chance for even more exciting times for the network ahead!

all those interested in permaculture, that have never actually been to a meeting as yet but would like to dip a toe in so to speak..please come along...and...

Firstly DO bring food to share as this always a good icebreaker for our the events and we have had a varied selection over the two and a bit years of meetings ( mostly vege or vegan as this then tends to be less limiting as to who can share it !) .

There is sometimes an agenda and thanks Agata for compiling the starts of this one( even though not actually able to attend) but often we just gage the feeling of the group as to how formal it will be ...or not..... usually not, as this lessens the fear of meetings generally and makes them more like socially informative events.

Please DO think of things you may like to see happen ie. rocket stove workshop , visit to Cobden Rd in Leeds, Bush Craft techniques discussion etc as contributions of ideas for what to do for the up and coming events are always welcomed and keeps the network going

and DO BRING FRIENDS so that the network widens and well... if you don't get on with any of us you could always chat to them instead !!!

NB.. However its most likely that you will like us so much that you may forget to talk to the people you brought with you - so better warn them of this - and as they will think we are fab too  so I am sure they will not mind!

Oh and lastly DO wear comfortable clothes for no other reason and its generally a good idea
