On June 18th Offshoots Permaculture project managed by Groundwork Pennine Lancs, won a Green Triangle award, in front of hundreds of delegates at the Groundwork Northwest staff conference.

The award was won for the best project in  the Environmental Action category. Here is the promotional video made by Groundwork to celebrate the success of the project.

 Also on the same day, Andy Goldring, from the Permaculture Association (PAB) delivered a presentation to staff, around permaculture in the UK, and in particular, about the work of PAB in relation to the Local Food Fund. According to feedback after the event, Andy's talk was very inspiring, and some members of staff at Groundwork are thinking about how permaculture design principles can be incorporated more into their projects.
